I saw Tool again last night. It was the fifth time, third time in the Vienna Stadthalle, which holds around 10.000 people.
It was a tremendous show again. Visually stunning, acoustically just breathtaking. I had a big fat smile on my face the whole two hours.
There was a strict no recording or photo policy, which was such a relief. But during the final song, Stinkfist, there was explicite permission to record. Seeing everyone whip out their phone was kind of nice, though. A shared communal feeling, as opposed to a complete nuisance.
