A heavy burden

Another day and a half, and I’ll be leaving Vienna for the factory. There’s really not much to say, except that I hope it won’t be hell. Technically, it can’t be, because it’ll only last eight weeks, and as all of you know, you can’t leave hell after eight weeks. But let’s say, if it were to resemble hell very closely, the limited time factor wouldn’t be a problem. Well, I just don’t want it to even come close to anything even faintly resembling hell. Actually, I don’t have a clue what hell is like, and considering my strong tendency towards atheism, I don’t even think there is anything called hell. But I think you know what I mean, when I write: “I hope it won’t be hell!”. You know…the devil could be my boss, screaming souls could be my co-workers and the stuff I actually have to do could be the heat. Which reminds me, that tonight they’re showing it again. I like that movie a lot, especially because the sound editing is just fabulous. Just listening to the twenty minute shoot-out in the streets is a wonderful experience. Don’t miss it! That’s an order!

As a nice ending to a mediocre posting, here’s a picture of what’s standing in front of the university’s side entrance:

Although you may find it odd, I really think it’s a great idea. Don’t you ever feel the need to see how much weight you’ve gained when you’re on the way to a lecture or an exam? Well, I do. And that’s where that machine comes in rather handy. A great example of what clever business-people can think of!
