tilde and pipe

Is it just me, or is the tilde placement on a keyboard using MacOS especially cumbersome? Why not just map it to where my logitech keyboard actually displays it? Same for the pipe symbol, both of which I had to search far and wide for to actually find how to produce (it's opt+n for ~ and opt+7 for |, in case you were wondering).

Procrastionation (again)

Why is it that always when I should be focusing on my writing in Obsidian, updating and maybe even finding new plugins looks so enticing?

(Untitled)

I'm testing something. It should show up with a lil shortlink leading back to the original post. If you can read this, then it worked. If you can read this, like or comment, and your like and comment show up on my original post then it worked even better than I thought!

Serendipity

I feel like serendipity is seeing a comeback. We've all been inundated by a firehose of the same, and only now this is starting to fragment again. I am quite in favour.

Servant

Sometimes wondering what else I'm missing when I stumble upon something like Servant, a very entrancing series, but confined to Apple+. What gives?

Language...

...is a never ending source of enjoyment to me. Just look at "solmization", which is defined as an "act of using certain syllables to name tones of a music scale". Which is derived from the sol and mi, used in that very way. Great!

Ghost in the fediverse

I did some revamping of the blog, in the course of which I saw that my ghost blog is now also in the Fediverse. Address? @richard@stormgrass.com! Quite ideal! If you wanna know more about Ghost x Fediverse, read this.
