It's a special kind of disappointment when I start watching a dystopian sci-fi flick only to realise a minute in that it's a YA adaptation. Add to that a ludicrous premise and plot holes so big a truck could drive through and you've got this ungodly mess.

As far as M. Night films go, it's not the worst. The script is half-baked, the whole premise a bit of a snooze but Bautista is solid.
