I recently finished reading “Choke” by author Chuck Palahniuk. And while I do suspect that Palahniuk’s mind is a scary thing, I liked it almost as much as “Diary”. Now “Diary”, that one really is disturbing, and kept reminding me of Joyce Carol Oates’ “Zombie”. Don’t ask me why, but I guess it must be the blatant display of sickness in both of the books.
Chuck Palahniuk does have a very nice website too. It’s called The Cult, and you can actually register to become a member. Which again is just a tad too creepy for me.

Hi! I’ve read “Choke” some years ago but I can’t say whether I liked it or not. I just bought it because “Fight Club” was not in store.
(Shame on me!) “Choke” didn’t fascionate me much, although it tried hard to. Thank you for the link!
You’re right, “Choke” isn’t an easy book to like. But it’s fascinating, and that’s something I almost like as much as like, haha.
