Pretzels are the new nuts

Well, I made it back. Surprisingly, no hassle at all with plane tickets etc. Although everything went smooth like that, I’m still a bit tired. So, for all you people who think patience is the name of a card game, let me relax a little, will ya? Until then, here’s a little observation from my flights:

That’s the welcome snack on board of the huge Austrian Airlines carrier.

And here’s the United/Air Wisconsin snack.

Isn’t it funny that usually you would get roasted peanuts, and nowadays it’s always pretzels?

PS: Actually, it’s not that funny. It seems airlines have noted that many people are allergic to peanuts, so they switched to pretzels. Still, it was a nice opportunity to show off my pretzel pictures.

I can tell you why it’s not peanuts but pretzels nowadays. It’s because everyone has become bloody experts on nutrition and most people know that pretzels have only about 5% fat and roasted peanuts about 45. that’s why. How clever am I?
