Oh, I hope those 25% are part of the 64%, otherwise only 11% would get up after 7 am. Which, quite frankly, I couldn't believe. And yes, I am grateful for the fact that parcels are not returned to the sender. Still, it would be much easier to simply say I should always get my parcels from the post-office, because the way it is now, I always have to either wait until the delivery guy is on break and returns to the post office, or I have to wait until the next day before I can pick it up.

I forgot to mention that you should be happy about the parcels delivered by the Austrian Post because you can at least collect them from your post office if you're not at home or awake when it is delivered. If you ever get a parcel from France or the Benelux countries, these are delivered by a subsidiary of Deutsche Post in Austria, and if you're not at home when they deliver it, the parcel simply gets returned to the sender. Happened to me on three occasions.

According to a recent study, 64% of Austrians are apparently up by 7 am, and a remarkable 25% are up before 6 am. This ranks Austria 6th in a world-wide survey of early risers.

hihi, I can only agree. fuck all the mail services of this world. there seems to be one understanding of all post offices and post deliverers in every country to make everybodies' lives even more miserable than they already are!!!
what was in the parcel, by the way?
